Ascend the 1st via ferrata in the Zillertal.  With the right equipment and correct technique, climbing a via ferrata becomes possible for anyone without a fear of heights: Secured to a steel cable from top to bottom, you climb using manmade handholds and climbing irons, in combination with natural holds, up through the steep rock face.

With the new climbing tower in the town center, along with the high-ropes course in Gerlos and the nearby via ferrata on the Gerlosstein, a veritable El Dorado for "rock jocks" has been created.
